Deciding to let the Mote bat first Bearsted started very well with Sam Luxton and Harry Slevin bowling their 8 overs very tight indeed, this with backing from the wicket taking Isobel Shelley and Jack Venning kept the Mote down to 107 a hopefully winning target of 108.

Charlie Galligan again starting like a rocket along with Sam Luxton and setting the B's up with 50 runs after 7 overs in the chase, unfortunately a boomerang ball removed him on his surge ending with 32.. Steady batting then followed with Isobel Shelley and Sam Luxton but some very tight fielding restricted them and ended up being both Run Out.. So the final 30 runs needed off 7 overs to win the game came down to Jack Venning ad Will Tuffill, they decided to keep all the supporters and remaining players hearts pumping and with 5 needed in the final over it came down to 2 runs needed on the final ball to take victory. No contact was made with the ball but very smart running made the Mote attempt the previously successful RunOut's but this time they were safe and were able to get the two runs needed for Victory!!

Well done all this caps a great season to see the whole team come on and support each other..
