Good news for all you budding Joe Roots and Ben Stokes's in school years 2 to 4 - cricket training is back on the Green!

Fun soft ball or 'Kwik Cricket' training for boys and girls, currently in school years 2, 3 and 4, starts again this Sunday, 6th May, from 10am on the Green.

Training will continue every Sunday morning, weather and events on the Green willing, all the way through the Summer until early September. This is very much an introduction to cricket and is based around developing early skills and having fun... and for the parents, what better way to spend a Sunday morning in the summer than outside, in the sun on one of Kent's finest village Greens.

There is no per session fee but we do require all players to complete a registration form and, if you are interested in participating throughout the season, there is a very small £30 per year subscription. Forms are available to download on the information / forms section of the website and can be brought along to the session.

We would also encourage all parents to register themselves, and then their children, on the website to keep up to date with events and communications. We are also always looking for more volunteers to help organise and run the sessions, so if you feel you could help out please let U9s manager, David Patton, know either at the session on by email (davidpatton@btinternet.com).

Finally, please tell your friends to tell their friends about cricket at Bearsted as we are always looking for new players at all age groups.
